Grooming yourself never looked so good as this duck does. Just had to take a photo of this duck cleaning himself… since he looked so pretty!
Since the 21st of March it is officially Spring, but Quebec is being a slow poke and has decided to stick on with the “lovely” winter season for another month it seems… Here is shot I took of the winter sun that is quite bright and lovely!
Another winter shot…since it is supposed to be spring right now, but the cold of winter just keeps lingering, and does not leave us alone!
Just wanted to say a big thank you for a 100 subscribers, and I am very glad that you enjoy my pictures!
This is a picture of sequins, just a little festive light and “shininess” since I am so happy that people enjoy my pictures!
Lone cabin in a lost forest… How awesome! Actually it’s just a friend’s little storage house in her backyard, but saying this only takes out the “feel” that this picture sends to me. Once, again, it is still winter, and it is still snowing here! I cannot even see signs of spring as yet!
When I went skiing, we did a little stop to see this waterfall… and just by looking at it I feel cold already! It was bone shattering cold that day!
Yet another winter and icy themed picture! Just the ice covering a dead flower. I found it interesting since there is quite a thick layer of ice on top of it!
Just taking a little walk in the woods, and found the footprints of a little stranger…actually a big stranger! The shadows just bring out the prints even more.
One of the very rare posts I will have exclusively with an urban landscape, and that is taken with my iPhone! I just loved the “straightness” of this view!
Going with the winter theme once again to match the weather outside! This was taken when I went skiing for the first time in Quebec City. When I saw this sight, a little hill, with half the stairs completely covered in tons of snow, I had to take it as a souvenir of how snow can be so powerful and take over human constructions.
A little fly feeding on a flower. However, the little fly seems to be lounging around on giant orange pillows!
A small berry that was caught by winter and was frozen. Just a picture to match the weather in Quebec these days!
Beautiful Indian temple that I took a shot of during my trip to Trinidad & Tobago! Awesome colors, can’t believe how nice this is. If only we can find lovely man-made buildings like these in Quebec more often!
Just a cute caterpillar wondering around in the grass. Just had to make this into a permanent souvenir!
Simple white flowers, but with this sepia-like filter, they look vintage, hence awesome.
Sometimes the simplicity of two simple foods together create a wonderful sensation to your taste buds! Some raisins and yummy cheese and et voila, a nice little meal!
Doesn’t this apple remind you of the kind of apple Snow White would have eaten from the evil queen? To me it does! It’s a simple red apple, but the background came out black and it only adds a bit more emphasis on the redness of the apple.
