Winter Sun

Winter Sun

Since the 21st of March it is officially Spring, but Quebec is being a slow poke and has decided to stick on with the “lovely” winter season for another month it seems… Here is shot I took of the winter sun that is quite bright and lovely!

Drop of Ice

Drop of Ice

Small frozen branches. After an icy storm then the beauty of winter appears.

White Forest

Another winter shot…since it is supposed to be spring right now, but the cold of winter just keeps lingering, and does not leave us alone!

Cabin in the Woods

Cabin in the Woods

Lone cabin in a lost forest… How awesome! Actually it’s just a friend’s little storage house in her backyard, but saying this only takes out the “feel” that this picture sends to me. Once, again, it is still winter, and it is still snowing here! I cannot even see signs of spring as yet!

Liquid Ice

Liquid Ice

When I went skiing, we did a little stop to see this waterfall… and just by looking at it I feel cold already! It was bone shattering cold that day!

Ice Bud

Ice Bud

Yet another winter and icy themed picture! Just the ice covering a dead flower. I found it interesting since there is quite a thick layer of ice on top of it!

Snow Prints

Snow Prints

Just taking a little walk in the woods, and found the footprints of a little stranger…actually a big stranger! The shadows just bring out the prints even more.

White Dune

White Dune

Going with the winter theme once again to match the weather outside! This was taken when I went skiing for the first time in Quebec City. When I saw this sight, a little hill, with half the stairs completely covered in tons of snow, I had to take it as a souvenir of how snow can be so powerful and take over human constructions.

Ugly Berry

Ugly Berry

A small berry that was caught by winter and was frozen. Just a picture to match the weather in Quebec these days!
